Beacon Heights Business Solutions

Hello!

We are Adam and Shelby, husband and wife team behind Beacon Heights Business Solutions. Adam is the bookkeeping and taxes guru, while Shelby is the one working with you for all things marketing and administrative.

Adam is an honours graduate of the bookkeeping program at Durham College. Prior to that, he had been a factory worker in manufacturing and assembly. The uncertainty of that industry and the drive to be self-employed prompted Adam to pursue a new career path. His desire to help others and his enjoyment of accounting systems and practices pointed him towards bookkeeping. He opened Beacon Heights as a bookkeeping firm in 2014. Adam is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a big believer in ongoing learning as he continues to take courses, attend conferences and explore new apps and programs to stay on the leading edge of improvement.

Prior to joining Adam in the business in 2018, Shelby worked in corporate marketing for two different national companies over a span of 12 years. Both large scale high-impact projects and smaller scope detailed initiatives were all in a day's work. She initially started in the hospitality industry in guest service roles, and expanded into administrative roles, with the motivation to help others while expressing her creativity being a driving theme in her career development. She sees working with her clients as more than just marketing and design - it's a chance to help bring ideas to life.

Above all, our relationships with our clients are of utmost importance to us, and we find great joy in learning about each of their business and the opportunity to work alongside them.

We aim to partner with our clients to shine a light on your success.

Being small business owners ourselves, we understand that being an entrepreneur takes passion, commitment and time. Partnering with Beacon Heights Business Solutions is an investment in your business, freeing up your time to focus on other things - whether that be seeking new customers or spending extra time with your family. What could you do with a few extra hours a week?
